Ever Recorder
Always-on audio recorder with on-device transcription and filler removal.
What it does
- Records continuously in the background, saved in 5-minute segments
- Transcribes on-device with a Vosk speech model you import — no account, no network needed
- Removes filler words (um, uh, erm, hmm) into a separate cleaned copy; originals are preserved
- Optional scheduled recording windows and cloud transcription (OpenAI, Groq, or your own Whisper-compatible server)
Local-first
Default mode never sends audio anywhere. Recording works immediately; transcription unlocks after you import a small Vosk model ZIP from the official model catalog in Settings. Cloud mode sends audio only to the endpoint you configure.
Requirements
Android 10 or later. Microphone permission and notifications for the recording controls. Battery-optimization exemption is recommended for long screen-off sessions.
